HENDERSON, NEVADA (11/05/2013) – A 71-year-old woman was struck and killed Monday night as she was crossing the street in a gated neighborhood called Seven Hills, according to Henderson Police.
She was hit by an SUV vehicle at bout 5:30 p.m. She succumbed to fatal injuries after she was rushed to St. Rose Dominican Hospital’s Siena Campus, according to The Clark County Coroner.
The driver of the SUV, Alejandro Gutierrez, 34, was not injured and submitted to blood tests. Currently law enforcement and investigators do not believe alcohol or drugs were a factor in the accident. The crash is being investigated.
