SACRAMENTO, CALIFORNIA (October 24, 2014) – According to a dispatch by California Highway Patrol, a 2-car accident occurred at the intersection of Watt Avenue and Hurley Way Friday afternoon at approximately 12:43 p.m.

Officers, fire and emergency medical personnel arrived on scene to assist and treat the injured motorists.  According to CHP, a gray pickup, a white sedan, a gray Hyundai and a red Volkswagen Golf were involved in the crash.

CHP reported debris scattered across the blocked roadway.  CHP says that at least one vehicle was t-boned in the incident.

The current condition and the extent of injuries sustained by any party are unknown at this time.

Investigators will review evidence to determine liability and the cause of accident.

One motorist sustains leg injury after crashing into light post

THERMAL, CALIFORNIA (October 24, 2014) – According to a dispatch by California Highway Patrol, a 2-vehicle collision occurred at the intersection of 55th Avenue and Calhoun Street Thursday evening.

CHP first logged the incident at 7:21 p.m.

Officers responded to the scene and stated that a white Nissan truck and a silver Honda were involved in the crash.  CHP stated that a telephone pole was hit and that it was still standing though half of it was broken.

According to the dispatch log, the local fire department and paramedics arrived to treat the injured motorists – at least one subject sustained a leg injury.  The current condition and the extent of injuries sustained by any party are unknown at this time.

CHP says that R and R Towing Company was on scene to assist with the removal of wreckage.

Officials are heading an investigation into the cause of accident.

Motorcycle vs Honda Civic

GARDENA, CALIFORNIA (October 24, 2014) – According to a California Highway Patrol dispatch, an injurious motorcycle versus car accident occurred on the southbound Interstate 405 Freeway near Western Avenue Thursday evening.

CHP first logged the incident at 5:14 p.m.

Officers responded to the scene and stated that a motorcycle, of unknown make and model, and a black Honda Civic were involved in the crash.  CHP stated that the motorcyclist was blocking on ground, conscious, in the carpool and No. 1 lanes.

As per the dispatch log, the Los Angeles County Fire Department and paramedics arrived on scene.  CHP noted that the rider complained of some unspecified injuries and road rash, and that the rider was transported to an area hospital for treatment.

CHP stated that A1 Checkered Towing Company arrived to remove wreckage in the aftermath of the accident.

Investigators are looking into the events that took place and will soon determine liability for this accident.

Big rig and vehicle involved in fatal collision

PORTERVILLE, CALIFORNIA (Octbober 24, 2014)- A fatal collision took place in the early evening at approximately 4:59 p.m. at the intersection of State Route 65 and Scranton Avenue, per the California Highway Patrol.

Reporting officers reflected that the involved vehicle included a semi-truck and an unknown vehicle. The semi-truck had tipped over on its side, according to the CHP dispatch.

Porterville Police Officers and fire department personnel were on scene to assist with the incident. At least one motorist was fatally injured in the collision.

The driver of the big rig sustained a knee injury and requested to be transported to the hospital.

Roads were closed for nearly three hours while authorities conducted a thorough investigation.

2 juveniles injured in afternoon collision

BAKERSFIELD, CALIFORNIA (October 23, 2014) – According to the California Highway Patrol, a traffic accident took place this afternoon at 12:42 p.m. at 7641 Edison Highway.

Dispatch noted that the two vehicles involved were a white Buick sedan and a silver Jeep SUV.

CHP stated that two juveniles exited one of the vehicles and appeared to have visible injuries. The juveniles both had blood on their face.

The Fire Department and paramedics arrived on the scene; however, dispatch did not record the severity of any injuries and or whether anyone was transported to a medical center.

Upon further investigation officers will release new information.
